Parents! Let’s Align
Information for the Parents!
Apart from the students, we forge a strong alliance with parents for a collaborative partnership that empowers us to work together for the holistic development of the child.
-
General Timing
Research shows that the timing for pre-primary kids is crucial because it has a direct impact on their learning experience. The ideal time for pre-primary kids is from 7.50 am to 11.40 am. This timing ensures that kids get the most out of their learning. It is a time when their energy levels are high, and their focus is sharp.
-
Open Communication
Our dedicated teachers exemplify a profound commitment to open communication, wholeheartedly embracing parental input and swiftly offering assistance to address any concerns.
-
Medical Information
We are required under the Child Care and Early Years Act to have a copy of each child's immunization record or a statement of religious or conscientious objection to immunization.
-
Injuries
If a child encounters an accident at school, our staff will provide essential first aid. In cases where medical attention is necessary, we will make immediate efforts to contact the parents. If needed, Emergency Services will be called by our staff.
-
Clothing
Every student must bring an additional set of clothing to be entrusted to their respective teachers, serving as a precautionary measure in case of unforeseen circumstances or emergencies.
-
Nutrition
Nutrition stands as the paramount factor for the developing child. A balanced meal undeniably paves the path toward a balanced individual. Our school extends the provision of a comprehensive chart to parents, delineating the optimal contents to include in their child's lunchbox during the recess period.
For overall well-being, children need healthy food.
Nothing beats wholesome home-cooked foods!
As parents and guardians, it is our responsibility to ensure that our children eat healthy, wholesome foods. We recommend a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats will not only provide our kids with the nutrients they need to grow but also instill good eating habits that they can carry with them into adulthood. Processed and high-calorie foods may be tempting for busy parents, but they provide little nutritional value and can contribute to obesity, heart disease, and other health problems. Instead, we should focus on offering our children a balance of foods from various food groups daily.
